Callbacks (Invite Only) Sunday, October 1st, 2023

Time: Check-in Starts at 9:00 am

Auditions will run from 10am to 6:30pm

NOTE: Anyone auditioning for the Visual Ensemble (VE) will register as a Battery auditionee and indicate they’re auditioning for the Visual Ensemble within questionnaire.

What is the audition process like?

Our audition process consists of two rounds. Within the two rounds, you'll perform prepared material and demonstrate your skills. If selected, you'll be invited to the callback round for a more in-depth assessment.

How will I be notified if I'm selected for the callback round?

If you're selected for the callback round, you'll receive a notification via email with detailed instructions.

When will I know the results of the callback round?

The results of the callback round will be communicated within the week after all callbacks are completed.

Do I need to bring my own instrument/equipment?

No, instruments will be provided. Bring sticks, mallets, and practice pads.

Is there an age limit for auditions?

Auditions are open to individuals ages 14 to 22. We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive ensemble.

Can I audition for both instrumental and visual sections?

Yes, you can audition for both sections. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.

What should I wear for the audition?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. For visual performers, appropriate dance or athletic wear is recommended.

Is there a registration fee for auditions?

Yes, there is a registration fee to cover administrative costs and audition materials. Details can be found on the registration form.

What if I have a scheduling conflict with the audition date?

If you have a scheduling conflict, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your situation.

What can I expect from being a part of the ensemble?

Being a part of our ensemble means immersing yourself in a community of passionate performers, receiving expert instruction, and being part of memorable performances that leave an impact.

What is the time commitment for rehearsals and performances?

Rehearsal and performance schedules vary throughout the season. We provide a detailed schedule to successful candidates after auditions. Expect to rehearse most weekends starting in October till mid April, Fridays 7pm to Sunday 7pm.

Can I audition remotely if I can't attend in person?

We strongly recommend attending auditions in person, but if circumstances prevent this, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.

What if I have specific accessibility needs?

Please let us know about any specific accessibility needs when you register, and we will make accommodations as needed.
