About STRYKE Wynds

In 2015, Winter Guard International created its first ever WGI Winds Circuit.  STRYKE jumped on the opportunity to impact more students in the South Florida Community and created STRYKE Wynds (SWY).  Under the 2019 direction of Josh Bishop, the wind ensemble provides members with the highest quality instruction in South Florida.  They make it their mission to help each member develop their fundamental technique throughout the course of the season.  At the end of the 2015 season, SWY earned the WGI Winds Open Class Silver Medal.  In 2016, Wynds captured gold at the WGI Winds Championships as well as the coveted Fan Favorite Award.  In 2017 Wynds was promoted to WGI Winds World Class and earned the WIW Silver Medal. In 2018, SWY was awarded the WIW Bronze Medal while in 2019 & 2022 were awarded the WIW Silver Medal.
