About SWY 2

In 2015, Winter Guard International created its first-ever WGI Winds Circuit.  STRYKE jumped on the opportunity to impact more students in the South Florida Community and created STRYKE Wynds (WIW). More than 10 years later, STRYKE Wynds 2 (WIO) was created and started competing for the 2026 season. STRYKE Wynds 2 competes in the Winds Independent Open Class and is being led by director Shamar Drumond. The staff at SWY 2 strives to provide each member with a highest-quality education and experience that South Florida has to offer. The mission of STRYKE Wynds 2 is to develop each member’s fundamental technique and skill throughout the season.
